The Castle Rock Day of Prayer focuses on the body of Christ coming together in unity to worship God and pray for our town, the local area, our state, the nation, and our world. Our desire is for prayers to be motivated by love and compassion for people. We want to be faithful to God’s Word as followers of Jesus, but do not want to have any sense of self-righteousness as we are all in need of God’s love and grace. The basis for this day will be II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” and Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A City set on a hill cannot be hidden." Join us at 9 am at Festival Park on Saturday, August 31st for worship, prayer, and fellowship. It's going to be great!
